United is pleased to announce the second of many exciting developments during the summer about the 2018 season. Patrick McHale will be a part of our 2018 Battery Staff as an instructor.

Patrick is thrilled to be joining the United Percussion staff for his first season in 2018. He marched with United in 2014, and is coming full circle with his addition to the staff this year.

Patrick has been a member of the Rutgers University Drumline for the past four years, and was section leader for three, working with United's Battery Caption Head and Arranger Paul Nalesnik. He was also a member of Cadets Winter Percussion in 2015.

Pat began his drum corps career in 2012, marching with the 7th Regiment until 2013. He then joined the snareline at The Cadets for the 2014, 2015 and 2016 seasons, where he was section leader and center snare for his final two years.

Patrick is now on staff at The Cadets for their 2017 season as snare technician, and will be on the road with the corps for the summer's entirety.

Pat is a recent graduate of the Rutgers Business School in New Brunswick, where he majored in marketing. He is excited to be able to continue his teaching career with United during this exciting stage in his life.

I am thrilled to be able to have someone of Patrick’s caliber on our instructional team to show an example of someone who embraces our core principles. Patrick’s experience and leadership skills are going to be highly motivating for our members moving forward in 2018.
