Charlie Pollock Returns to United Percussion Instructional Team In 2020

United is excited to announce that Charlie Pollock will again be a part of our 2020 Staff as a Cymbal Technician.

Charlie is thrilled to return to the United Percussion staff, which would be his 5th season with United including his time as a member. He began his marching career with the Jersey Surf where he marched contra for the 2013 and 2014 seasons. He went on to march with The Cadets in 2015, then aged out with Carolina Crown in 2016. Charlie was fortunate enough to be a part of the hornlines at both The Cadets and Carolina Crown when they received the Jim Ott Award for Best Brass Performance. Charlie was a member of United Percussion for three seasons, marching in the cymbal line in 2014, 2017, and 2018.

As an educator, Charlie has experience working with numerous programs across Northern/Central New Jersey. Currently, he teaches at his alma mater, Old Bridge High School, working with their marching band and indoor percussion programs. Charlie is also currently on the visual staff at the Legends Drum and Bugle Corps.

Charlie is a graduate of Montclair State University where he received a bachelor's degree in food science.

We couldn’t be more excited to have Charlie returning to United Percussion. His experience as a member and staff member along with his varied musical talents make Charlie exactly the kind of person we want to lead the cymbal line.
