Anthony D'Andrea Joins United Percussion World UQ Tech Team

United Percussion and Arts, Inc. is excited to announce that Anthony D’Andrea will be a part of our 2021 Staff as a Tenor Technician for United Percussion World.

Anthony is excited to be joining the United Percussion World staff roster as a Tenor Instructor, teaching alongside other staff members who taught and marched with him only a few years ago.

After joining his high school’s battery, Anthony was introduced to DCI and WGI on YouTube. He went on to march quads for the Connecticut Hurricanes Drum and Bugle Corps in 2013 under Andrew Barlow, 7th Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps in 2014-2015 under Jeff Bickford, and The Cadets “QB” 2016-2019 under Colin McNutt, (2016) and Tom Aungst (2017-2019). He was section leader at 7th Regiment in 2015 and The Cadets in 2018-2019.

He has also marched three seasons of indoor percussion in the WGI Independent World Class. Anthony performed with Cadets Winter Percussion 2016 under Travis Peterman and United Percussion in 2018-2019 under Paul Nalesnik. He was a featured quad soloist for both groups.

Anthony received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Connecticut and is finishing his Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics. He currently works as a software engineer. In his free time, he also enjoys helping out and arranging for a few local high school percussion sections in Connecticut.
