The Countdown to Championships
United Percussion Family, Friends, Fans, and Legacy,
The countdown to Championships has begun. Both United Percussion ensembles are making finaI preparations for WGI World Championships. United Percussion World continues to put the finishing touches on its show “The Powers That Be” and the United Percussion 2 show “What Goes Around” is in its last stages of development.
We truly appreciate all of the support during our Fans Pledge and United Percussion Legacy 20-20-20 fundraisers to date and we are counting on your generosity once again. Our members pay a Dayton Championship Travel Fee that covers nearly ninety percent of the cost of the trip. We do not ask for a greater amount from them because we find that many of our members personally fundraise through online campaigns such as GoFundMe. At the same time, we do not want eliminate or reduce the Championship week experiences that have become a tradition at United since 2003.
Whether it’s sponsoring the Team Championship Tour Shirt, Team Banquet or Meal, Scooby Snacks, or a general gift of support, your help will be greatly appreciated and ensure our members have an experience to remember. We are counting on you to help energize United Percussion as we reach for that next level. Something you can look back on and know that you had a hand in pushing UP.
