United Percussion and Arts, Inc. 20-20-20 Fundraising Update

On December 29th, United Percussion and Arts, Inc. launched its most ambitious fundraiser to date to lead into 2023. This event, called ‘$20,000 in 20 weeks for 20 years’ or ‘20-20-20’ for short is for each alumni year, and those who have followed United Percussion over those years to come together and raise $1,000 or more.

Starting January 1, each alumni year has been designated a specific week with the goal of raising $1,000 or more during that week. We are happy to share our scoreboard so far with $5,960 being donated to date which puts us at 30% of our overall goal!

During the designated week for each specific year, you will see the videos of your year on our social media posts and on our YouTube channel. We will also feature pictures and other posts on social media that highlight that year. Also, we will provide an opportunity for each person that donates $250 or more to a specific year, to add a lasting statement to accompany that year in its social media posts.

Our goal this year is to become much more “independent” in our operations. What you may not know, is that we’ve had to borrow musical instruments and sound equipment from high schools and colleges to keep pace with our growth. We would like to become more independent by purchasing our own tractor trailer, and also to not rely on personal or professional connections for equipment.
