This past weekend, the members and staff traveled 10 long hours to Dayton, Ohio for the WGI Dayton Percussion Regional. While mother nature gave us many challenges, the group was able to over come them all and place 2nd out of 7 PIW groups. United received a raw score of 80.0, but did receive a 1.85 point penalty for being over time. All of the PIW groups in attendance were nothing short of stellar. It is going to be another great year for WGI.  

"We had some challenges getting on and off, but we will work out those kinks. While the weather prevented us from having a finals performance, we are glad that we were able to get to and from Ohio safely. The members and staff did an awesome job of pulling together."

We got some great feedback from the judging community and we will continue to work on the show. We have some exciting additions in store and hope to see all of our fans at our next performance at the WGI Unionville Regional. Until then we encourage everyone to go to the Pearl Facebook page for an inside look at the "Art of it All."
